MICRODEEP® Micro-Macro Depth Electrodes
Multi-contact, flexi-rigid intracerebral depth electrode with deployable micro-contacts (tetrodes) – for single-unit physiology
- Diameter: 0.8 mm
- Platinum / Iridium macro-contacts – 2 mm
- Micro-contacts deploy between macro-contacts 1 & 2 at the distal end of the electrode as tetrodes
- Two variants:
- 6 macro-contacts / 3 tetrodes (12 micro-contacts)
- 9 macro-contacts / 2 tetrodes (8 micro-contacts)
- Active exploration length ranges from 33.2 to 50.8 mm
- Cable Connection: Dual–tail design

All tools have a diameter of 2,45 mm and fit in a guiding tube of 2,5 mm.
